Marketed to law enforcement and foreign military clients, the AC-556 is essentially a Mini-14 .223 Rem. chambered rifle configured as a factory original selective fire machine gun. Features fixed blade front and adjustable peep rear sights, with a bird cage flash hider on the barrel without a bayonet lug. Standard markings on the receiver, with the safety lever set into the front of the trigger guard and a three-position selector switch (semi/3-round burst/full) on the right side of the receiver heel.
