Item #762: - Colt Vickers C&R with Colt tripod. This is a magnificent example of a WW1 balloon gun with proper arsenal conversion to .303. Virtually all of these were converted to the infantry caliber after the war. 100% correct. Has lovely high-polish blued finish and complete with ammo box, carrier and belts. $21,995. |

Item #249: Japanese type 96, caliber 6.5mm, in collector condition. Manufactured in April of 1940. This C&R gun retains much of its original wartime blue finish. These guns were usually refinished. All numbers match except for a couple of small parts. The bipod is 20 numbers apart. The wood is in nice condition and overall it is in the same condition as it was when brought to the US after WW2. The original magazine has some pitting and is functional. $10,900. |

Item #861 - Hotchkiss Portative .303. model of 1909. These were carried in leather scabbards by cavalry horses and could be put into action immediately by snapping on the quick-release tripod. Using a quick-change barrel, these guns were used through both wars and not declared obsolete until 1946. Serial numbers match including barrel (rarely seen). Lovely brass and nickel tripod. All original and excellent condition complete outfit with rare belt loader in original box, full box of belts and a full box of feed strips. Classic pre-WW1 gun. A nearly identical outfit sold at the Julia auction last fall for $34,000. Take this complete outfit for $14,695. |
